Theresa Tran

Hi! My name is Theresa Tran. This is my third year at Wichita State University, and I’m an Integrated Marketing Communications major with a minor in psychology. 

As for my background, I was born and raised in Wichita. Since I was young, I've always been intrigued by social media and its impact on consumer behavior--whether it be through YouTube sponsorships or cookies tracking.

Currently, I work at the Wichita Public Library teaching classes and assisting patrons with technology and job-seeking. I also like to volunteer at Via Christi in the patient transfer area. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, drawing, and doing makeup.

For the future, I would love to hold a career in social media management, particularly in a creative industry like beauty or fashion. I'm working on achieving this by gaining experience in Adobe and marketing through school, and teamwork and customer service through my jobs.
